Carcassonne visit and château Pennautier
Overview
Discover the world of wine with a visit to the Languedoc vineyards, and take the opportunity to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Carcassonne.
Our host Yann will welcome us to Château de Pennautier to show us how he makes his wine, which he will introduce us to tasting, before we can enjoy it for longer in the estate’s restaurant.
Then it’s off to Carcassonne for a tour of the city walls!

Course
Depart Toulouse from Ramonville metro station. Estimated journey time is 50 minutes. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early.
Cabardès PDO wine tasting at Château de Pennautier.
Lunch break. Bring a picnic or go to the restaurant at Château de Pennautier.
Presentation of the vineyards and tour of the park.
Departure for the Cité de Carcassonne.
Self-guided tour of the Cité de Carcassonne. We recommend a visit to the museum.
Free time for a stroll or a drink in one of the city’s bars.
Return to Toulouse, arriving at 8pm.
